DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF HIGH PERFORMANCE SOLAR PROJECTS
Since 2009 we have installed solar arrays for more than 20 farmers in North Carolina, with grant assistance from the NC Tobacco Trust Fund Commission. Each panel in every one of our systems has been continuously monitored. The Commission evaluated their grant program in 2012 and determined that, of a total of 30 systems installed, the 15 systems that C.M. Wilson installed took the top 15 spots for energy output. Our emphasis on solid engineering, even on smaller systems, was the basis for this success.
This commercial solar farm in Tennessee was commissioned in 2012. C.M. Wilson is one of only a handful of companies that meets the TVA requirements for solar installers and also has a required Level II NABCEP installer on staff. With a track record of successful installations throughout the many iterations of the TVA incentive programs, we have the engineering and project development expertise required for this complex market.
In late 2013 construction began on the Ferguson Family Life Center at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, NC. We are supplying a state-of-the-art, micro-inverter based, 10,000 sq ft solar array for the roof of the new facility. In the words of the church itself, "Based on the Ferguson family’s desire to lessen the long term operational expenses of the building, the Family Life Center will include a solar energy system. The system will be as large as the roof area allows, generating enough electricity for much of the campus' needs."
C.M Wilson designed and supplied the roof-mounted solar system at the Tyson Furniture store in downtown Black Mountain, NC.
