Our Company
C.M. Wilson, Inc. is a solar design and installation company based in Western North Carolina. Founded in 2003 by Chris Wilson and Mike Wilson, C.M. Wilson uses an engineering-led approach to identify the best technologies and best practices that combine to create cost-effective, high-quality solar installations. Some of C.M. Wilson’s clients include the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, Madison County Public Schools, Haywood Technical Community College, and many more. |
Chris Wilson Founder and President
Chris is an Electrical Engineer whose industrial experience includes quality engineering and product testing. He was the director of the UL test lab at the Square-D/Schneider manufacturing facility in Asheville, NC, and a design engineer in their advanced manufacturing division. Chris holds a solar industry NABCEP certification and a North Carolina unlimited license for electrical contracting in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Mike Wilson Founder Mike is an Electrical Engineer with 28 years industrial experience as a project manager for Fortune 500 companies, leading engineering projects in the US and in Europe. He has worked in aerospace component manufacturing and electrical equipment manufacturing, where he applied creative solutions to improving process reliability and productivity. |
